Our client was driving through an intersection in Rockland County when another driver made a left turn directly into his lane, causing a head-on collision. A witness at the scene confirmed that the other vehicle crossed into our client’s path while turning, making liability clear from the outset.
As a result of the crash, our client sustained serious injuries, including herniated discs in his neck and back, a torn shoulder, and significant damage to both knees. He ultimately required a knee surgery and a cervical spine fusion, and was also recommended for additional shoulder surgery.
The insurance company initially needed time to evaluate the extent of the injuries, but after we presented the MRI findings, surgical records, and full medical documentation, they conceded fault. We continued to push the case forward and demanded that all available insurance coverage be paid. Facing the strength of the medical evidence and the seriousness of the injuries, the case was ultimately resolved for $900,000.
